That's why I've created a simple step-by-step process to make sure you know exactly what you can expect along the way.
I have designed this process to give you (and me) a framework for making an educated and informed decision about working together. In addition, you will finish this process knowing exactly where you stand in some key areas of retirement success.
There is no cost or obligation for this process as I want you to know exactly how we can help you before you pay me a single dollar in fees or trust me with a penny of your nest egg. That just seems like the right way to do things.
How it Works:
Step 1 - Initial Phone Call
It all starts with a quick 20-minute phone conversation. We'll discuss what you're currently doing financially as well as what you want to achieve. I'll also provide answers to any questions you might have and give you an idea of how I typically work with families. If we both believe there's a potential fit, we'll schedule some time to meet in person. If not, no harm done, and I'll make sure it's still a valuable use of your time.
Step 2 - First Meeting (In-Person or Virtual)
Next, we will meet to learn more about you, your family, and your unique financial situation. The purpose of this meeting is to gain a perfectly clear understanding of your financial goals, concerns, challenges and opportunities and to give you a chance to meet me and ask any additional questions you may have. We’ll begin to gather information about your overall financial picture to help guide our analysis.
Step 3 - Results In Advance Planning
This is where the magic happens! I will apply all of my experience & thousands of hours of training and mentoring by the industry’s top experts to test what you are currently doing as well as any things you are thinking about doing. I will also have a couple of ideas that we will also test. We will review all of your current and future income sources as well as your retirement savings to develop options for you to review. During this process we will have a particular focus on taxation because it is likely to be one of your largest expenses in retirement. We want you to pay what you legally have to, but not one penny more!
Step 4 - Second Meeting (In-Person or Virtual)
This meeting is where the fun begins! Together, we will review the various plans I have tested using our Results In Advance Planning methodology. I will explain, in plain English, the pros and cons of each possible approach we have tested. You can ask questions and through this process you will see clearly what the best path for you to achieve your retirement goals is.
Step 5 - Sleep On It
Having been in business for more than 20 years, I am in no rush for you to make a decision and so there will never be a high pressure sales pitch. Prior to deciding whether we should work together, you will want to answer the following questions:
- Do I like/trust/respect Dave?
- Will the benefits provided exceed the cost?
- Do his recommendations make sense to me?

Step 6 - Getting Started
I am truly honored to be working with your family. In this meeting, we’ll begin the on-boarding process, sign the necessary paperwork and set ongoing expectations for our relationship. After that, it’s time to get to work and implement our plan to put you on the path towards meeting your goals.
